Extraordinary place. Especially for a date. Food was amazing, atmosphere and service perfect. Make sure to ask to sit inside if given the option. Highly recommend!

A hidden gem! Away from the tourists and in a courtyard garden, this intimate restaurant focuses on the quality of their dishes. Using local, fresh ingredients - you can watch the chef work in the kitchen! It feels very special. Would recommend trying the seasonal / chef specials. And do not skip dessert!

The views are really breathtaking and the food was amazing, the chef really knows what he is doing! You must get the seared tuna! It was incredibly fresh and melted in your mouth. Also the lemon melon sorbet was just outstanding. It was a bit of a hike up the hill but we got to explore the residential neighborhood. The atmosphere is very romantic and feels very exclusive without being over the top. The wine was also quite good. We loved it! Thank you Sylvester and David.

I have dined here four times. In my opinion, this is Cefalu’s most elegant fine dining restaurant. The restaurant is in the hills of Cefalu, overlooking the sea with beautiful views especially of the sunset. The design of the restaurant is spectacular as it’s all glass and open so you feel the breeze while sipping your wine, perfect. The staff speaks English and are on top of everything. The service rivals any top New York restaurant as sometimes Italian restaurants lack the service but make up for it in the food. Il Cappero is top notch across the board. The wine list is extensive and the recommendations have been stellar. The food: I saved the best part for last. It is a fine dining restaurant where modern meets classic but is approachable and not pretentious. All the dishes have so many nuances in the flavor. I have had some of these dishes elsewhere however the modern interpretation was spectacular!! They also have specials each day as well as the chefs own creations. I tried all the available ( menu changes) antipasti offered over the trips here, zuppetta de cozze, Melanzana crema pomodoro, uovo Della nonna, all recommended. All the pastas and risottos are on another level which is hard as Sicily has some of the best pastas in Italy. The desserts were all delicious and you should try them all. If you are in Cefalu and want to venture out of the crowed center, getting treated like a VIP as well as eat like one, I highly recommend Il Cappero, thank me later! Buona Cena!!

I gave up the restaurant booking in downtown and rather staying in the hotel restaurant, it makes us no regret because every dish is Buono and full of surprises! Thanks for the professional and talented chef and the team! Besides their perfect cooking skills, the restaurant is very chill and peaceful, u can also experience the magic hour of sunset; the team also have strong humour to make the guests laugh all the way and makes our time here more memorable and enjoyable! Delizioso!I’ll come back again!

Amazing restaurant. Everything was very fresh and looked amazing. Up there with the best food i have eaten in Italy. The restaurant is very pretty and the views are amazing. Also the service is excellent and the waiters are very professional and friendly. Would highly recommend a visit when you are close to Cefalu!

Fantastic experience here. The food was great, and the service was even better. Our server Davide was EXCELLENT! And hilarious. They showed us the kitchen, and their garden where they grow fresh herbs and the tastiest cherry tomatoes i’ve ever tried. My husband is a chef and he and the chef were able to chat for a bit and it was very special and inspiring to us. The entire kitchen team is so friendly and warm. Essentially everything was 100% local and in season. This was the last dinner we had on our honeymoon in Sicily and it was spectacular. The views of the ocean and sunset from the hilltop location are gorgeous, and I loved the open concept of the interior design. It’s very pretty. Everything was great quality, timely, and staff incredibly attentive. I highly recommend!

We came here when we saw the 5 star reviews and were not disappointed. Exceptional food, service, and atmosphere. Each dish was crafted with delicate and intentional flavors. By far our best meal in Sicily!
